Thank you but nah - the only place we stopped in Leicester was Websters Cycles - where I tried to buy a hat cotton cycling cap - but to no avail.

Just got back from Loughborough Station after a grand total of 126 miles.

I had an excellent time.

Thanks to all those who attended but especially to Adam for giving us the opportunity to make good use of a beautiful day.

Beer is now deserved and shower is now required.

A long, hot day in the saddle, but very enjoyable, so thanks to everyone for participating.  Only 122 miles for me!

Lovely countryside, and I agree with something JonBuoy said on the train back, that you can't beat the Leicestershire section for the compact, rolling scenery.  Photos will appear at some point (including the CrinklyLion traditional food shots).
