The left brake lever has a scrape, and the bar tape's a bit scuffed.  Otherwise it's fine.  ( actually, I'd be surprised if the left pedal isn't scuffed too).

1. The bike's OK
2. I managed to complete the DIY ride, hence achieving the TGSoS (and up until the crash, had averaged 16mph, even with the Central London start)
3. The injuries aren't too bad

mrs_o thinks the timing is suspicious since our dishwasher just broke down and I can't do washing up with my hand as it is.

We looked but couldn't see any. I have to say a CSI stylee body shape marked out on the ground with white tape would have been helpful.

Back on-topic: next week is National Real Ale Week or somesuch, apparently.....The Angel & Harp at Churchend is promising guest ales, with a pie and a pint for £9.95.

Ulterior motive is that I've got Book Club, so can't get out on Wednesday, except later on to meet the Mid-Essex Posse somewhere local.

Over here a suggestion has been suggested to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting to discuss the Christmas Do.  The suggestion suggested was meeting at The Compasses next Wednesday (9th).  If I am sufficiently organised I will bring The MEMWNS Little Book of Big Ideas into which we can note notes.
