We haven’t been to Witham’s Woolpack for a while.
We could do a takeover in the Spread Eagle (if he's still open)

You won’t like, they only do one proper beer normally. You’ll moan - a lot.

So what's the verdict on tomorrow evening?  We could just go to 'spoons in Witham.  Lots of choice of cheap beer.

I'm in London tomorrow, so unlikely to make it, especially as there is no Little Baddow to Wtham bus service :'(

'Spoons works for me, as does this:-

pub-crawl!

Newland Street pub crawl: 'spoons, White Hart, Spread Eagle... KEBAB  ;D

Bicycle optional.

But maybe in the opposite direction, ending at the 'spoons?  I can't imagine the Spread Eagle amusing us for too long.

Lotsa snow here this morning...we'll see if riding is possible later. Bus and train to Witham is looking decidedly iffy.

Helpful.  Shall we just start in 'spoons and take it from there?

I'm aiming for 7.30pm at the 'spoons.
Once I'm warm and settled in there with a very large glass of something red, I don't think I'll be moving anywhere else except home.
I am beginning to regret all the times I wished for snow as a kid growing up in South Africa.
Make it go!

To be fair I think that's fair.  Tonight is not the night to be moving from one town to another.  Us Witham folk will do our best to keep the team end up.

I will be a bit later than 7:30 - we have been having our tea in the pottery kiln so I need to finish this pint and walk up to the 'spoons

FORWARD PLANNING suggests The Cock at Hatfield Broad Oak for tomorrow evening, I'm not sure my legs are up for such a jaunt at the moment.  Is anyone interested in an alternative?

Yes, somewhere in this Galaxy.  We need to stop pandering to our Hertfordshire sub-chapter. Audax Club Hertfordshire East (ACHE) can make their own way over here or stay where they belong.
