Oh dear and unfortunately I'm not out either, it's a cosy night in with fandango junior for me.

Surely those Wednesday night stalwarts, AndyCCCC, BFG, Oldgreygoose and Jem(erlot) are out?

I'm up for a ride out tomorrow. The Maldon beer festival has been good before so that's two of us so far.

I’m planning to be out, the Maldon beer festival is good for me. I might even be on two wheels!

I’ll skip this week. Need to bank some sleep before a busy weekend, which an estimated 1:30am return from Maldon wouldn’t facilitate.

Also hoping to be at Spa Rd for 1930 - depends of the whim of some former colonials.

Just for the sake of offering a route to the Maldon Beer Festival, here is one.

I seem to have been invited on a call at 2100. I could just tell them I'll be asleep...

You'll be settled down with a pint at the beer festival by then...you know how to use the mute button??!  :P

Why use the mute button? I'm sure there'll be enough collective wisdom around the table to resolve anything that might arise on the call. The speaker button is probably the right one to use.

I seem to remember it is a 5 minute walk to the loos, so timing of call and bladder sounds like an opportunity :D

Any views on location for next Wednesday - at the moment it's just "A Pub".

I'm trying to get out of a work dinner to come to the pub, which I'd much rather do. However if it's going to be Far East then I won't be able to do anyway!

There's been 3 revisions to what next Wednesday is - all centered around OD heading off to That France

1. Rose & Crown Maldon
2. The Spiritual Home
3. A local miniature brewery in Witham with links to the ACME GCFO

I am guessing Option 2 is still the favoured one

I thought option 1 was on the 24th April to tie in with Mr Partridge heading off to French France.

I thought so too for option 1.
Option 3 is the Bryony Nano Brewery Tap

Should we really be discussing this before Jibers has had the chance to post his uncommonly detailed account of drinking ales in a school hall from last Wednesday?

//flashes back to Wed 3rd April....
A group of MEMWNS, ACME and various WAGS are sat in the Spiritual home, discussion turn to ODs pre French France sojourn, we jointly decide to relieve OD of his Brexit Vouchers and declare TSH as the venue for his drinks session....   hence why the BBs' Hello Kitty Kitty is bulging with a page of Brexit Vouchers at the moment

I was also of the opinion that Papa d’Oscar’s big send off was the 24th

Correct, but we all think the date was to be the 24th....maybe Svetlana will be along herself soon to confirm that her alter ego is buggering off to forren for many months as of the 1st May and when his last MEMWNS would be before he goes

NB: Option 3 for the 17th would be bottles only as I've just pulled the last pint that drained the keg of Use It Up IPA  :o

I sense that there's indecision and CBA regarding tomorrow evening.

Are we out? Is it the spirtual home?

If I'm gonna make it I need to plan ahead.
