I've downloaded Andygates' OSM - how do I get it onto my eTrex? It's the blue one so no SD card

As in the original eTrex Legend, with serial connection?
You can use sendmap to transfer maps to it: cGPSmapper - Your Tool For Creating Maps

Though the main problem is the lack of memory. The original eTrex Legend has 8MB of memory, the newer Legend H has 24MB. Whereas Andygates' maps are something like 140MB for the full set.
If you download the "tiles" version of the maps, then you might be able to fit a few of the individual map tiles on the eTrex. Though you would have to figure out which tiles are which areas. Probably best to install the maps in MapSource of QLandKarte GT, so you can view the maps and see which tiles you need.
Though I think some of the tiles might still be a bit big to fit. Maybe best to find a mapset with smaller tiles, or generate one yourself.

No it's got a USB rather than serial connection
