Anyone with nothing better to do could get themselves to Long Itchington, near(ish) to Leamington Spa for the beer festival there (http://www.longitchingtonbeerfestival.co.uk/index.html?_ret_=return) over the Mayday bank holiday.
One small village in the Warwickshire countryside, so good for rides, six pubs (three of which are in the GBG 2010), and a great atmosphere as folk wander round the village trying out the different pubs and ales.
There's a canalside route for people travelling to Leamington and there's a campsite.

It was excellent last year and a glorious day when I was there.
