IMHO the proposed new standards leave a loophole which can possibly leave you the customer with tyres that won't stay on the rim and no comebacks;  the rim can be made to size, the tyre can be made to size, and the lack of decent hooks in the edges of a 'tubeless ready' rim will mean that a tubed tyre may not be retained correctly, if it has even slightly stretchy beads. It is one of the problems that is mentioned in the link above, more or less.   I don't see a way around this one, apart from to stick to normal rims (with decent sized hooks) if you intend to use tubed tyres.
