It seems a little odd to me, since as far as I can see it's only open to Season Ticket holders. If you regularly took this train, I'd imagine you already had sorted out how to get to your destination, ie Tube season ticket, already own a Brompton etc.
It would be most useful to the occasional traveller to London, who aren't allowed to use this scheme, since they won't have season tickets.
