Worked all the way through yesterday and today's stages, and got home just in time to see the credits on the ITV4 highlights - and there's no ITV4+1 tonight. So I now have to wait up till midnight for the next showing of today's highlights to watch the race go within 10 miles of home. And I bet they don't show any of that part of the stage!

But it didn't look as if Heather got her Yorkshire cream tea.

She got a typical Chicken Bhuna, with a plain Naan and a salad from Mango's in Keighley, excellent value.

Mango's is no.1 Mornington Street, Heather's sister Hilary lives further up. I've done a  film of when France came to Keighley, 4 mins 19 sec.

Mrs m and a couple of magnoliettes; Leeds to Harrogate par le train:

Cracking day out, Gromit!

The girls apparently preferred last years event on the Champs Elysees, despite the heat, and despite the Leeds shopping interlude.  I shall do my best to get them back there soon!

In contrast, I kept up to date with what was going on by means of Twitter updates from @itvcycling, while slowly making my way south along traffic-free (and often tarmac-free) roads of central Finland.
