A new "world" record has been set for the Maldon Mud Race. I think this should be a spur for our own Mudlark, Oscar's Dad, to come out of retirement and try his hand at winning it next year.

FTR, whoever the cretin was narrating that piece of video, it's not the River Crouch that the competitors were intent on crossing, but the Blackwater.
