A Tomos Watkin Cwrw Gaeaf. Yes I know it's premature but it's more appropriate than Cwrw Hâf in this weather.

I have a fine selection in the fridge, Tesco had almost all of their interesting British beers at 4 for £5 today. Can't argue with £1.20 per pint (almost).

Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon 2005.

astonishingly good; we've had this bottle for years and have run out of everyday wine, so cracked it tonight. It's not an outrageously expensive wine, but it tastes like one.
