A rather nice Pinot Grigio by Hardy's.

Ooh top tip folks. For those who frequent Tesco's and you don't mind champagne, very occasionally they have Dom Perignon for £46. True! Normal price is around £95. We do think it was a pricing error...

A'Bunadh. I have to check the spelling as well, even though I've had a succession of bottles of this liquid fire. It's the spaces and apostrophes, combined with the cask-strengthiness of it, which all conspire to jumble my brain.

See, what we really need to do is do a late night skype single malt pronunciation conference call. After 11.30pm, if you can still pronounce the name of what you are drinking, you're disqualified on style grounds.

Aye, I've just picked up a bottle of Batch 42 of that at Waitrose for an excellent £27.15*. A bargain dram. That'll go very nicely with a couple of squares of very dark chocolate this evening - and probably even better with a mug of hot chocolate just before bed.

* Offer on until 6/11/12. Holds good for Ocado too. I'll be needing a couple of more of those before it ends.
