Extremely cheap white wine with a slug of creme de peche to make it drinkable. Tashtes quite classhy by the second glass.

A cheeky little Wilko's IPA kit homebrew. Dry-hopped with el-cheapo, orangey Dana and bottle conditioned for two months yadda yadda. It's actually incredibly drinkable (and smoother than some extract brews I've knocked up) but more to the point it's only 70 pence per litre !!!!

Will have to get another batch on soon.

Old friends up from Brighton. Thwaites Triple C, Delerium Nocturnum (didn't do as much for me as Delerium Tremens) and some more of the delicious Flying Dog Green Tea Imperial Stout that my local still has on (I could live off this).

If you like that, keep an eye out for Peche de Vigne, made from the peaches that grow wild (supposedly) in the vinyards around Provence etc. In fact, if you are in France around the end of August/beginning of September keep an eye out for the fruit themselves in the markets. Worth putting yourself to some trouble to get.

Builders tea, without the milk. Ok I know that is really not builders tea. BUT I'm pretty darn close I'll say - spend the last four hours taking the wallpaper off the walls with Peli in the bathroom, so we are pretty much builders and we are now on our fourth tea break, this time with chocolate mints. And we have had a real builder in doing other builder stuff in the house, whom we also gave a cuppa. So therefore my Honour I rest my case regarding that my milkless cup of tea is a builders tea.

Had a Flying Dog Gonzo porter and a G Schneider& Sohn Tap 5 wheat beer last night. Amazed to find that the local off license (Rhythm & Booze - not promising) has a decent array of imported beers much cheaper than the local specialists.
