Right now a very nice 2009 Rioja . . .

There are so many names on the label (and my Spanish so non-existent) that I couldn't tell you its name. \it has a whiff of port on the nose and is quite dry. Interesting flavour.

Latter we have both apple and cinnamon vodka to try.

Elbow 'Build a Rocket Boys' beer from Robinson's brewery, presumably down Salford way.

It's rather nice

Also the song is very good. Guy Garvey's voice is fab.

I had a very nice 2009 rioja with lunch yesterday. £6/bottle from lidl! Very fruity and light, but not watery. Yum!

Then followed it with Xmas spiuced vodka and rum. I had overdone the spicing, so adding of mixers was required.

Macon Rouge out of my 10L Bag in box brought back yesterday from the winemaking coop in Charnay Les Macon, at £3 / litre. You would not be unhappy paying about £7 a bottle for it.
