Ooo, you have a gin I don't (the Hammer & Sons one). I've had it few times, I think we were knocking back some big G&Ts in Madeira the other year. Monkey 47 is one of my favourite gins. We seem to be acquiring quite a few very good German gins.
I was sadly forced to do the Bermondsey Beer Mile again yesterday. I may as well give up and become a beardy hipster. Once I was well-lined with grilled cheese sandwiches and chocolate brownie bigger than my head, much beer was consumed, and there was much, much happiness because we were blessed, Prairie
Pirate Noir on tap at Bottle Shop. It's not quite as good as Bible Belt, but oh god, it's still unmeasurably gorgeous. Smooth, rich imperial stout aged in rum barrels. It's like liquid pudding. So what if it's 12% boozahol and at the time I most optimistically call post-breakfast
Unfortunately for my bank account, they had Bible Belt (and a few others) in bottles. At £14 a pop. Look, it's cheaper than flying to Tulsa to get them.
(Weirdly, we discovered Bible Belt in Paris, there's a fantastic craft beer brasserie opposite Gare de Leon.)
