I am drinking cheap cava (the only thing in the fridge) but it's not 'Royale'.

It's pretty crap, but it's cold, and alcoholic.

IIRC, that's the export stuff that is mixed with condensed milk to make a popular Caribbean drink.

There's been plenty of advertising and branding for Barefoot wines in offies and shops round here* so I tried a Shiraz tonight on offer. It was tasty, smooth and went to my head so I give it an eight out of ten.

I had a Cuvee Mythique but different to Spesh's earlier this week and give that an eight as well. That wasn't on offer.

* more than I remember seeing for any other wine.

I drank a bottle once. Too, too sweet! I like the Fentiman's Traditional Ginger Beer, & if there was a properly alcoholic version (it has a little alcohol in it, but not enough to be classed as an alcoholic drink) I'd happily drink that as well, but I'll never touch Crabbies again.

stopped off in Lewes and had forgotten all about Kiss; their Valentine's special beer brewed to commemorate Rodin who I believe lived in Lewes for a while (The Kiss was exhibited in the town a few years ago).

It's not often one has to pass on a pint of Old...
