Lidl Vin de pays de Oc. Not bad and very cheap.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Old Hooky.  A sole bottle left over from the visit of my Father-in-Law.

Oooh! Lethal!

Sounds like a recipe for vomit.

Tonight:  kit royale (made with Nz fizz, not champagne) and now Chablis.
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

A very nice cider called "Thatcher's Heritage". Wondering if the name is a joke, an earnest statement of political alignment or quite innocent.

A Ramsgate beer!

Took two cases of DB to a friend's wedding in Devon last summer. Went down a treat.

Well, since the brewery moved to Pysons Rd, it's technically a Broadstairs beer... ;)

Yup, it's a great beer, a real classic.

I had a bottle of Gadd's No.3 tonight, which is possibly my favourite beer in the world right now. Eddie Gadd is a craftsman who knows how to make supremely well-balanced beers - he has a modern palate but a respect for the traditions of brewing, unlike some of the more fashionable, image-conscious brewers whose beers I tend to find too aggressive and often disappointingly one-dimensional (yes, I'm looking at you, Brewdog - all mouth and no trousers).

That said, I had a bottle of Kernel Export Stout last week and I loved it - a beer with a huge wow factor.

Lussac St Emillion 2009 from Sainsburys. Normally £13.99 a bottle, they had a "2 for £10" deal. So I got two bottles of nice wine for a tenner, and I saved a whopping £17.98!

Old Beersel Old Cherry Old

Is something as old as that still OK?

It's a bilingual label - the beer is either Oude Kriek (Dutch) or Kriek Vielle (French)

Orange Squash.  First day in a (kind-of) new (kind-of) job tomorrow; but it IS safety-critical, so I really shouldn't go out and get a skinful.

(kind-of) (1): I've done signalling before, so it's not that new.
