English or American?

The article referenced shows dates in US format, but then we had an instance a few days ago of an American spelling (favor) so if that spread is based on US spellings then that should work for Wordle.

There again, I can't imagine there would be much difference in sequence between UK and US.

Here's the frequency of letters in Scrabble which may be of interest ?

so throw in a vowel heavy word like 'ouija' or 'adieu' for starters
then one with the frequently used consonants

R- 6 L - 4 C - 2

F - 2
