How do you add a text alert for a specific waypoint/checkpoint, to routes/tracks I'm following on a Garmin Edge 130? Such as a control, site of interest etc.
Presumably it'll involve software (I'm not disinclined to paying - RWGPS?)?
I think I'm correct in saying that GPX files can be modified using text editors; could it be done using this method?
And knowing that somewhere on the forum I'll have missed something while using the search function, please feel free to nudge me in the correct direction.
