When you say central - do you mean Coggeshall ?

Coggeshall is ok for me, around 18 miles, depends how much of the A120 I want to avoid. Is there any demand for a western meeting? Given the weather expected, I'd opt for a nearer venue if any others are about.

Wednesday weather looks OK at the moment but I am not really up for Coggeshall plus I still need to investigate the j.ack forks for potential damage after Sunday...

I'm not about at the moment although there maybe a last minute change of plan as my daughters Explorer unit are off to London.

Re: Coggeshall - Chapel Inn, or the Woolpack?

We didn't have a good experience at the Chapel the last time I went, they closed early.  Don't think I have ever been to the Woolpack so happy to give it a try if others are keen.

OK, as a sign of intent I shall now walk into the garage and put BJ's rear wheel back where it should be.

My bikes are not accessible until Eastlight fix the garage door, in 10 working days they will give us a date. This could be a little inconvenient.  :'(

I would use the ‘Professional’ skip bike as it’s shut outside the garage but it would be a magnet for thieves.

Mrs Shred has just pointed out that the calendar on the kitchen wall was still on February.  What I thought was a realistic target to avoid the high tide is actually far too tight - better to find out now than sometime after midnight on the wrong side.

Enjoy your evening, those that make it.

Happy with East and tide is favourable - Swan @ Totham ?

I suppose I could have followed last week's no show by going full OD and suggest a venue and complicated route before bailing out.  I am not the great man though so I will be there.

Works for me, although if I do make it out I'll be riding a shortened/relaxed route due to apparently suffering the return of a cold I thought I had finally got rid of.
Some discussion of north of the border nature to be tabled.

I will be in the deep SW that week so may raise a glass of Sharps or St Austell brews on the 5th
