Early bid for The Wollpack Chelmsford on 5th April.  Easter beer festival CAMRA tasting night

 Sounds good to me. This Wednesday, given that it may be another wet evening  ::-) east/west splits again?
I should be around tomorrow if there’s a western venue.

Ok, anybody else from out west? The Black Lion, High Roding is always popular and a Nick friendly distance, otherwise the Prince of Wales at Brick End, Broxted is due a visit maybe? Any other ideas?

I'm torn between Lion and Swan... depends on if I get the bike back together and some stuff in the tyres and also precipitation....

We also need to discuss at somepoint the expidition to our spiritual cousins (13 May, camping at Ted's field...) and also continental plans for September.....

Will the east and west factions all be in the same place next Wednesday?

I am out tomorrow night - happy with either Black Lion or Broxted. Slightly prefer Broxted.

Let's see if Nick is about tomorrow evening - if not then Broxted?

Ah, thank you for thinking of me! Happy with High Roding but my brother and his son are keen on something more local to Billericay (son is fresh to riding so keeping distances lower), so if you decide (or rather) elsewhere then that’s fine.

Be lovely to catch up at The Black Lion though

Great  - you have saved me from feeling obliged to cycle to Broxted which would have been 80km!

What time at Black Lion? Have a board meeting tomorrow, so could do with an early finish, so perhaps 8pm?

If I can get my interview prep wrapped up by a sensible time then I will try and pop along to the Lion for a swift one (no, the interview isn’t tomorrow). Any appearance will probably be motor assisted though.

Can't you go in through the roof? It's only asbestos, it'll break up quite easily!

I am sorry, chaps - it’s pissing down and I met my brother at Blackmore with his son so we are staying here. Don’t want to get there soaking and making their seats wet.

Sorry.

I can’t, I’m asbestos aware (I’ve done a course and everything).
