Does anyone fancy a spin on Saturday morning?  Yes I know it'll probably be raining.  I won't be up for breakfast but a coffee might work.  Dakota has yet to go up TMNH so perhaps Tea on the Green, Danbury?

When and where do you expect to set off from - I'll see if I'm awake early enough after a week of late shifts.

Spa Road roundabout. What time suits you?
9:00 or later, I'll moderate the Essex Energy Drink intake tonight.

9am at the roundabout.

Yesterday ...

Me and The BFC got wet but we had fun.  We also had coffee and cake at Tea on the Green.  The end.

I forgot about this thread.....too much focus on Audax....I think the winter is a good time to get back into the breakfast rides actually.

The next MEWBS ride is this Sunday - a route check and GPX track of the Stansted Express.

Yep, I am going to aim to make it on Sunday and I won't even try and DIY or DIY ECE it......imagine that!

it might all be cleared up by then but on Thursday I found the far side of the Alcohol - Bike riding limit. Several excursions into the verges resulting in a very relaxed roll into shrubbery led to me walking the majority of the 7.5 miles home. I decided to ride the last bit as the walking would have sobered me up and managed another verge excursion which ended with me deep into a Bramble bush. I got home and as I opened the door I noticed quite a lot of blood on my face from several scratches from said brambles

Oh, and when I said I am off the booze last week, free beer seems to have been an exception to the rule.

You need lessons from Oaky, he can still ride a bike even if he is too wasted to walk!

I think some of us are going to Andy's mam's for a cup of tea and some pork pie... (some of that statement might not be true...)

Nah, I prefer rides which start and finish at my back gate.

I was going to but couldn't be bothered with the ece to get a 200... as I wanted to get back for the Calcutta Cup so I'll just be doing a local 100 with a huffer stop - though I have planned a ECE 100km out to the 'uts during the week...  There is a 4km detour if the rail bridge/tunnel is closed btw.

Yeah, does the route cross a north/south line with Chelmsford?
