Seamus King

I know some people on here used to visit Cyclefest, Spokesfest, Wooler, York rally, etc  about 20 years ago, and knew Seamus King.

Yesterday I had a facebook reminder that it was his birthday, so visited his facebook page, and found his sister, Trish had posted a message on it back in April last year that Seamus had passed away following many years of ill health.  :'(

Seamus loved cycle-camping, and touring. He rode Peer Gynt, Hurricane Mistral and ICE recumbents since the '90s.
Although he played the 'grumpy git' he had a wicked sense of humor and used to write a spoof online version of Cycle Culture magazine.

If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

I am sad to hear this. I rode with him a few times on early Origami rides and his cycling film list was an educational experience.
