I'm going to have to find out what company Luis and Herlander work for, they were really courteous cycle guides and herded our group of 28 around the town and coast of Cascais without incident. I'm planning on repeating the ride tomorrow with a different group of colleagues, but for now:
Shyumu's journal relating to cycling in Portugal on hire bikes from somewhere really friendly

A bit down the coast from Cascais proper then. I like Estoril. Lots of nice pokey old streets to get lost in. I uaed to love it when those big storms blew in from the Atlantic. So dramatic. The cycle paths weren't there when I lived there.
Jealous.
