As the garden froze steadily over, our pet rabbit vanished. We thought he'd been eaten by Brer Fox. Or that he'd frozen somewhere. But to my daughter's delight, after two days of being invisible (busy undergound?) he emerged this afternoon.
We now have a humungous hole under the fence bordering our neighbour's garden...with just the permafrost keeping the soil in their border from caving-in!
