I'm planning a ride with a couple of chums. They have spangly plastic and soot bikes. I, of course, ride a Steel Bike, with 3 cross 36 spoke wheels, like God intended. Part of the route might go down NCN22 in Gomshall. Google maps shows this as fairly well surfaced where it leaves the road, but has anyone got more info? I don't want my friends to faint/cry/say Bad Swears when we leave the tarmac.
