I saw the article earlier but was distracted by other stuff and failed to be baited.

Transponders to alert cars to your presence already?  Cor...

Puts me in mind of Jeff Noon's blurbs. A drone that shouts "oi" for me at appropriate times could be helpful. Particularly uphill when I'm short of breath.

As a volvo owner.... O:-)

So less use for the eyes and the brain...this is technology for nothing other than people who are incapable of controlling a vehicle.
