Passing our old office store-room half an hour ago I noticed a dusty old guitar-case leaning up against the wall. Couldn't remember if there was anything in it and almost went on into my own office, then opened it anyway and discovered a BM Malaga entry-level classical guitar I bought almost 50 years ago to replace one I'd had to leave behind during one of our Citroën-Dyane-borne country-to-country removals - IIRC its usual place in the car was taken up by a nearly-new nipper.
Anyway, even as a "vintage concert guitar" I doubt if it would fetch 400€ these days - I think it cost around £25 - but that doesn't stop it having a beautiful tone and a lovely low action - possibly just the thing I need to start playing again. I stopped a few years ago once my hands became too shaky to find a chord reliably, but I think it will be a lot more forgiving than the guitars I've had since. Here's hoping.
