If anyone else there is of this parish, they didn't make it known - AFAIK only myself, Rob, Jurek, Jane and Andrij were there (only Jurek made it to the front page of the mag thobut).

Me and Rob are on the LCC home page and the petition page, which is nice.

'Barrassed.  :-[

I only went along for the ride, but *someone*,  in their wisdom, put my name on the list.

Nice to encounter Her Welshness on the way home tonight.

I did, however, mis-hear her greeting of "Redlight" as a warning that my rear light had gone out!  Doh.

We both wanted to be at the memorial ride but it was just too b----y cold.  Even at 6.00 I couldn't feel my fingers despite having on two pairs of gloves.
Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

Don't be hard on yourself RL.
I had every intention of attending the ride - but the temp. was just too cold.

It was great to see you too Redlight and to swap tips about keeping our bits warm  :o

As much as we both wanted to attend to stick around for 2 hours and ride very slowly would be torture in this weather  :-[

Ummm... I must point out, in case people get the wrong idea, that... the bike in the photo is not mine. No bike of mine would ever stay so white! (and that's why I'd never get a white bike in the first place)

I didn't realise you'd actually taken photos!

A pleasure. The coffee was appreciated, thanks.

I've sent you a couple of links to MTB-sized Schwalbe tyres and I'm having a look at some properties near where we discussed. Watch your inbox.

Very nice to bump into Mr Cyklisten today - me on my way back from buying a sandwich and him on his way to work, guitar case in hand. Unfortunately, while he recognised me, despite the suit and tie, presumably because he is used to seeing me bareheaded, I didn't recognise him at first as I am used to seeing him (a) in lycra and (b) under a he***t.

Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

Just before Oxford street this morning around 7am, saw a yellow YACF topped cyclist with a white Kask helmet, I was the cyclist dressed all in black with a black bike...... 8)

That'll be moiself, for sure

Hmmm think I remember looking at the bike, can't say I remember who was on it. Were you one of the annoying gaggle coming into New Oxford Street? ;-)

The only one I really remember round there this morning was the guy who decided it would be a good idea to go to the inside of a bus before the Gower Street junction, just as the lights changed

H!TFD!

Pisip, it gets everywhere.

Meanwhilst, I reckon I saw  Life of Brian today, heading East on the B2037, approaching Keepers Corner, wot is on the FNRTTC route. Leastways I think it was him. Fassa Bortolo kit anyway. (checks member list. Blimey, he's been quite for a while)

MattH & son on the Kennet Valley 100, plus Ladyvet (though I don't know which of the women I don't know who was in the hall at the end she was), PAC & Bikey Mikey (though I don't know which was which).  ;D

Plus, no doubt, others, all unknowing.

[Edit]Having seen Bikey Mikey's photo, I now know which was which. I definitely spotted him. Beard & hair.  And thanks to posts from ChrisJ & Ladyvet, I can add him to the list, & know who she was. I rode with ChrisJ to the start, after a chance meeting in South Reading, & saw Ladyvet on the road & at the end.
