Saw a rider with orange YACF top, in Greenwich.  I was at the Paul Rhodes bakery inspecting meringues.  Early morning it was - before 9AM.  Not somebody I recognised.

Male, tall, short dark hair, black framed glasses?
Yes

My money's on Gerwinium. Again.

Thing is.....
Has he not been home?
Is he wearing the same shirt that he wore on the FNRttC?
Does he have more than one tango'ed shirt?

We Need To Know  ;)

Unless gerwinium confirms my spot was heading south at 23:15 and therefore the wrong way for a FNRttC.

Also, when I saw 'him', it was Saturday morning, no way could he have been back from FNRttC.

I was with him all morning (in Bognor and onna train), so that'll be a no.

It still wasn't me. ;D

My YACF orange jersey is in the laundry basket, I wore a Planet-X jersey to work on Friday, and purple long sleeved YACF jersey on the way back.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Tim, I reckon I would have recognised you to call your name rather than say to myself "that's a YACF top"

I did go past Waterloo towards Westminster Bridge on Friday at around 23:10 so that sounds about right; 9 on Saturday was a bit too early for me, I did go past Rhodes at around 2pm though. :)

Not sure if the person in question is a forum-dweller (I didn't recognise them) but I saw a woman riding a black Surly, either a Cross-Check or a Trucker, near the University this morning.

Madam, if you happen to be reading this, your taste in bikes is impeccable :)

(I was also on a black Surly, but a 1x1 ...)

As I drove from Preston, Buckinghamshire bound on the M6 on Sunday evening (loads of traffic and delays) I passed and was passed several times by a vehicle bearing a pair of burgundy coloured bikes that looked to be matching apart from wheel size. They were audax/ touring machines. I couldn't quite read what they were but it was two words and ended in 'staff.

If you are here, consider yourself spotted.

Very likely.

I have just done an image search for Longstaff bikes and this flikr image was in the results. It is a dead ringer for one of the bikes I saw.

I think that George was better known for building tandems and trikes, but he did (and the company still does, I think) build some excellent touring machines. Back in the day, Longstaff were on my list for possible builders of my audax bike (went with Dave Yates eventually, largely because he was based in Newcastle at the time)

Longstaff do currently build (stock & custom) touring & audax bikes in addition to to trikes, tandems & disability machines.
It's a little known* secret that they operate a selective 2nd-hand service.

*perhaps now more widely known ;)

A custom built Longstaff is top of my wish-list.Fortunately they are a lbs..Unfortunately I haven't won the lottery yet ;D

Panoramix plus Mrs P and both mini-panoramixes at a camp site in La Chapelle aux FeltzmeĆ©ns, Brittany where we all had a lovely meal and we are sharing a pitch. Mini-P rode most of the way here on her Islabike

Wave. Glad you enjoyed the meal.

+1 - GWS Jean Louis!

Today I unexpectedly spotted CU out on his bike at lunchtime.  Then randomly bumped into CA in the bike shop.  Neither meeting was planned.  Small world....

And I saw CU ride past the Indian restaurant, just as I stood up to put my coat on, on Monday evening about 9.30-10ish...  He clocked me, and I waved.

He seems to get about a bit!

Also, I think I might have spotted a glimpse of an EldestCub and his BMX in the street outside the Den this morning as I rode past to work..?

Quite possibly - it did go to school!

I then spotted Mr Bunbury on my way home from work.

... and I spotted the Lion herself this afternoon.  I think the family might not be a family at all but a spy ring masquerading as a family in order to keep a watch on me.
