I'm not sure, but I have a hunch.

Was Polar Bear (+1) by any chance walking their bikes and carrying rucksacks past the Minster at about 11am this morning, possibly in the direction of the station?  Did they pass a Maximus being loaded with recycling? I know they've been in York and think they were going home today....

If they did, it was me with the Maximus.  By the time my brain had ground into gear (mainly on account of the bikes looking like they belonged to people who Knew What They Were Doing), it was too late to shout out, and shouting Polar Bear? might have made me look a bit bonkers anyway....
If I had a baby elephant, it could help me wash the car. If I had a car.

Jogler and Marj, at the Spread Eagle in Rolleston. Very nice to see you both (as always). And thanks Alan for the saddle.

Now, I just need a bike to put it on.
What's so funny about peace, love and understanding?

The lovely Butterfly in one of Brixton's quiet backwaters.

Sorry I wasn't able to stop - was on a mission.

How is it we both had that struggling-into-a-headwind expression, whilst travelling in opposite directions? :D

It was an all around wind. Every corner we turned it was still there! Anyway 'waves' :D

Had a cracking  ride home at about 7.30 last night with a chap on a fixed, Brooks saddle, Super C hanging off the back and two flashing LEDs. We played tag from Trafalgar Square to Deptford, although most of the time it was him in front and me clinging on desperately a few bike lengths behind!

He was also doing some pretty impressive track standing - I don't think I saw his feet touch the ground at any point despite many red lights.

He said he did 25 miles each way like that so, if you're on here, sir, chapeau and thanks for the tow.
Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

I think I spotted Adrian zooming down Brixton Hill on his Brompton this morning. I couldn't shout because I was in the work car. :(

If it looked like me it would have been as I did ride the Brompton Thursday because the Carlton was flat of tyre.

Yesterday - we spotted (and were spotted by) Jasmine - in the wilds of the Cheshire plain, making for the Ice Cream Farm even faster than we were escaping from it.

Just back from a week's sailing holls with the Juniors, near Ortakent in Turkey.
Turns out they run early-morning guided MTB rides before the sailing sessions start, so I signed up just to keep my legs turning.
Several in-the-know had brought cycle kit and SPDs, but I was in civvies.

Met up with a half dozen regular cyclists on these trips, including one lurker on the forum, who had ridden the BCM600 ( and some other audaxes ) as a non-AUK this year, anthough I didn't recognise him from memory.   We had a good series of morning rides, including one very off-road session which left me as Lanterne Rouge.   I'm a scardey-cat on fast and/or very rocky descents!

He did also beat me in Full-rig Laser category in the final regatta.  ( So did everyone else - my mainsheet came un-tied and un-ravelled and it took me about 15 mins to re-rig it all which is quite difficult in the gusty winds we had!  But I was determined not to DNF! )

So if you're reading this: <waves>.

Something a lot like a Mekon flashed past the end of my road as I herded the offspring to school.

Origamist at Balham traffic lights.  I doubt he saw me - I had my jacket on, so the yacf jersey wasn't in view, I was the other side of a mass of cyclists, I was on my 'new' bike, and I stopped just the other side of the junction to get some cash out of the bank.

Saw a PBP jersey heading out of Palieros towards my hotel in Greece this lunchtime. As he was on one of the hotel bikes I assume he was staying there too. Anyone from here?

Butterfly a few minutes ago, as she was about to cross Cromwell Road on her way to the Science Museum with a couple of her charges, which was probably a wise move, because there was a humongous queue for the Natural History Museum (strictly speaking, she spotted me first!)
Actually, it is rocket science.

Arch. Who zoomed (for beryl-esque versions of zooming) past us as we were waiting for a bus.

Sort of.

He walked into Corridori Cycle Sports.

While I was on the phone to them.

Does that count?
