Jurek.

Was that you I spied as I waited to cross westferry rd? 8.30 ish?

I waved and yelled but you didn't seem to notice. The other cyclists at the lights looked at me like I was mad though.

Perhaps it wasn't you...
White top / blue bike?
That would've been me.

Yep, it was you.

You can tell I haven't been off roading recently, I'm obviously out of practice at the yelling loudly enough...

You were, not unreasonably, focussing on the traffic, not the pedestrians gazing wistfully at the bike commuters. :(
Getting there...

It's Wunja, he's a very nice chap.

He happens to be sitting in a Versatile, more details here: http://www.auntiehelen.co.uk/auntie-helen-buys-a-velomobile/ and here: http://www.auntiehelen.co.uk/the-versatile-velomobile-and-v006-in-particular/

I've just realised the best thing about the Versatile.....

It hides all the beer muscles in photos.

Previously unpublished photo of Auntie Helen wearing a red hat in a pink purple Versatile.

If the red hat is all she was wearing, it's a perfect modesty bike for the WNBR!

It's the bicycling equivalent of the burqua. You don't have to wear matching, cool, trendy MAMIL threads, you can wear any old grotty clothing and no-one can see. You just need to buy a Rapha hat or something, job done!

I thought it was de rigueur to ride velomobiles in just your pants?  :)

RichForrest did this at Mildenhall a few years ago. Me, I shall remain fully clothed, as always.

That pic has an Aston Martin look about it.
The others, not so much.  ;) :-*

...which makes Wunja Bond. But who is Auntie Helen? Is she Moneypenny? Does she have a white cat? Will she dance to a Shirley Bassey song? We need to know...

Adamski.
Or, more to the point, he spotted me, and called out.
On my commute home.
He was running.
I don't think they caught him.

Akin, outside Waitrose. We had a very pleasant chat and it turns out that I have met him before in that he was in my daughter's class at school and therefore he endured some chess with me. He also spotted me in 2012 somewhere in the region of Builth Wells when he was doing the Bryan Chapman and I was on an early-season solo camping tour.

Small world.

Tiermat, in the car park of his place of employment. Money and a frame changed hands.

He's a lot taller in real life than the, now vanished, picture in my head.
