Well you looked like you were having a nice walk.  Isn't Bingham lovely in the sun.

Lovelier than it is in the rain, I'll give you that! I'd got the bus along to Prestonfield to see a woman about a shower chair, then had to go to the equipment stores (just where the Innocent crosses over Duddingston Road West, you can see the vans) to see if they had what she needed and decided to walk back to the office instead of getting the bus, wishing I had the bike. Although if I'd been on the bike you'd probably have passed me as I was puking up the flies I would certainly have swallowed!  It's very insecty along there.

This morning, on my way in past Stockwell, I spotted a tall chap with long hair & a purple yacf jersey, riding a Witcomb fixed.  I introduced myself.  He removed his earphones, and I introduced myself again ;D

It was Darkpoint.  Never met him before.  Nice chap.  We rode together as far as Walworth RAB, where we took different lanes, as we were heading different directions off the E&C.

He said he was doing a variation on his usual commute, adding a few miles but avoiding Crystal Palace (v. wise on fixed, I'd say).

Heading into Clapham, I spotted a purple yacf jersey way ahead, and assumed it was darkpoint.

Caught him up by Stockwell, and we rode together to Walworth RAB again.  He seems to have a magical effect on traffic lights, which cancels out my negative vibe, turning the lights green as we approach

Rides a Witcomb.  Class bike. Local to here (well, ish), too! :D

He he.  Did it again.  I spotted him in the distance near Clapham Common, so tried (despite the best efforts of the traffic lights - see post above) to catch him.  Finally drew level near Stockwell.  Nice to ride together again.  I think we're fairly matched for cruising speed, though I had a couple of failed shoe/pedal interface incidents setting off from lights (we'd been through a ford in Clapham, so my pedal was wet) :-[ , so I had to catch up a couple of times.

At least someone on the Forum other than Butterfly has now seen me riding fixed. ;D

One Zipperhead at the lights by Chelsea Bridge and one Emilia (who I always seem to see whenever I go up to Holborn).

s'funny that, I see her round Holborn (it's where I work) rather frequently but, having only met her a couple of time as part of a FNRttC I am pretty much a stranger (and am often being a suitenger) so I don't shout "do a skid" at her.  Particularly when she's on foot.

Clearly I need to be more careful if I am being reconised at a distance..

It was good to see you again this morning, and on the fixie, very nice.

It was nice to meet and chat to Wooly.
This was the Queensbury Eco-Cultural Festival at Eton Grove Open Space, Kingsbury, for those who want to know where we were.
Brent Cyclists were two stalls away from Dr Bike/CTUK.
Weather was pretty good; though we could see heavy rain fall over Harrow, we had almost none ourselves.

I wasn't in any tunnels today - I rode round Arthur's Seat.  Although, I hope that's not metaphorical imagery you're using there.

Maybe you were astral projecting and travelling through the Innocent tunnel. I thought I saw you coming out of the bottom end with someone else, but the sun was in my eyes and you/he were moving fast. Good job I didn't shout "hellooooooooo Kev."

spotted a weasel of the most wascally sort riding through battersea park yesterday at about 6.20pm - would have shouted if I'd been quicker off the mark and hadn't been dressed up as a penguin for the charity awards (featuring linton kwesi johnson and lauren laverne!)

Do these count?

I saw simonp's dad on TV the other night, and I once heard Mr Larrington's sister (Dr Larrington) on the wireless.

Saw a familiar face yesterday evening, but can't place it. I was having a snack outside McColls in Fareham at the turning point of my Middle Road 400 when a Surley (I think) went past, heading briskly down the hill. The rider was wearing a large rucksack. I'm sure that I've seen him somewhere before. Any ideas?

I was chatting with a chap on today's Reading CTC ride, and it slowly dawned on me that I was talking to Bledlow.

Saw (and spoke to) mrcharly at the York Cycle Show admiring the ICE stand.

(EDIT) I also spoke to somebody riding a Moulton, but I can't remember their name. I'm rubbish like that.

By a very strange coincidence, I saw and spoke to Hulver at the cycle rally.

Also managed to catch up with Martin (mseries) and Alan.

Yep, would have been me sometime around 8.15pm. Didn't notice you though...

Reminds me, I also saw a Peliroja shortly afterwards on Hurlingham Rd.
