The Legendary Mr Nesbitt.  In Costa.  In Toytown.

What a coincidence!

Toytown is where I live  :)

He must be nearest to me from this place!

Ah, yesterday morning, I was spotted again by darkpoint.  He always does the spotting because he's faster than me, and rides up behind.  I do think my CLARION jersey may be a bit of a give away, though ;D

Nice chap.  Must meet up for a ride sometime.

Wearing a yacf jersey this morning, which meant that Chris L could easily spot me as he drew swiftly up with me.  We chatted through Clapham, till we came to a rise, where I let him ride rather than being a gentleman and keeping his pace down to mine fully loaded. ;D

That Cliff Shrubb is really cool.

If it's a red one, then he and I had a chat about Carradice bags at the lights in Tooting the other evening.

This evening we spotted Zipperhead. Or he spotted us. Something like that anyway :). We rode in a convoy for a short while, which was nice :D.

It was nice to see the 3 of you all looking so happy.

And we managed to spot some real hardcore bike porn. A lovely Robin Mather parked outside a pub in Red Lion Street. S+S couplings, Ti rack, lovely paintjob.

Oh, despite saying that I wasn't going into Bikefix, after going to the bookshop that I was headed for, I thought it would be silly to be so close and not go in (as I needed a couple of inner tubes anyway). I came out with a small item made by Carradice (Sue)
Won't somebody think of the hamsters!

Well, on Friday I spotted and rode some miles with Kim, and MSeries, and Hulver (who actually spotted me first - I had my first ever 'You must be CrinklyLion!' called across the street.  Wonder if it was the big bag of cake that gave me away :) ).  And several others too, but I didn't manage to match up all the names to faces.  Very lovely it was to meet them all too.

And then yesterday I spotted Clarion, Butterfly and TGL at the York show, and will hopefully be spotting them again soon over the best veggie breakfast I've found in York....

And you certainly did :). We really enjoyed that and it was lovely to see you again. Sorry we had to dash off a bit.

This weekend we also saw Jogler, Marg, Jethro, Luke, PH, Mr Nesbit, Tiermat, mr charly and Triceratops :). And LeeW from elsewhere.

It was a brilliant weekend all round. 8)

It is a good breakfast there, although the service was disticntly scruffy round the edges today - they're usually a lot more on the ball, and a bit more generous with the portions, than that.  In fairness they didn't actually charge for the breakfast that they missed off the order (and then brought along afterwards when I queried it).  And TGL seemed to approve of the CrinklyCub recommendation of sticky-toffee pudding :)

And now I can add the (infeasibly youthful-looking) MrCharly to my 'spots' too.

Yes, us too.  They'd just visited the SEEKRIT BUNKER for tea and a private viewing/test ride of the Brox.

Very nice, very nice.  I'll pop a couple of pictures up as soon as I've ordered and received my new 'guards and leatherised the bars.
