Buy two, and then buy none. On average you'll have only bought one, which I'm sure anyone will agree is perfectly reasonable.

Well that's one bag bought anyway. I think it's a Barley but the listing doesn't actually say. Has a slight tear in one of the seams but it's only in the flap of the side pocket so will have a go repairing that.

I've just remembered there was another question I was going to ask the seller but have bought and paid for it now...bugger. Oh well, sure it'll be fine.

ETA What I meant to ask him was the inside a drawstring top or not, I think it might not be, so cue me worrying about things escaping. I guess I either get a thin bag to sit in the Barley or add a drawstring top myself.

How difficult is sewing cotton duck?

Fine tuning the day2 route of our trip to Catalonia, as there are a couple of tunnels where bikes are not allowed, but luckily there is an alternative route, though longer, it is flat and runs next to the lake. This classes as a win all round, I would say.

Must remember my insect repellent!

I haven't seen UC lately, but the presence of the rubber duck I would have thought is obvious: it's transport home afterwards.

I am currently imbibing a bottle of Timothy Taylor Landlord as a well-deserved treat after having been one of the last shoppers to leave Waitrose this evening, and having delivered Phyllis's shopping to her prior to bringing ours home.

Must have an early night because I'm getting up at 6 a.m. in order to have ~~methotrexate~~ alendronic acid and breakfast prior to catching ~~a train~~ three trains to Ipswich, whence I will be cycling home.
