Sitting, nervously, thinking....why oh why did I agree to FLY to Turkey on holiday? I don't like 'planes, I don't like abroard and I don't like sitting on a tour coach for 12 days.
And how many tranqs can I take and still be allowed through Security Control at 5 a.m. tomorrow....

TV has died again - we never get reception when it's hot.

Managed to hang the washing out. In two phases.

Woo Hoo!

It's just started raining lovely big plops of rain. I've brought the washing in and am now collapsed wheezing. In a minute I'll hang it to dry indoors (the cycling kit was already dry other than the rain drops).

Once done, and recovered, I'm heading out for a ride in the rain

FWIW I was sweating my bollox off at work yesterday. No bloody air-con in the building!

Cursing my recent shopping trip. Phoned Grafham Water to buy a turbo. They hadn't got the one I wanted but "Rutland" have. Drove 75 miles to Rutland Water and they hadn't got the one I wanted. They had a slightly different spec unit that they sold me at the same price. Before buying I stressed that I wanted a remore resistance adjuster and they insisted it had one. Drove 75 miles back home again and NO remote adjuster. Resistance increases as cadence increases. Not easy for low cadence high resistance training. Not easy for high cadence low resistance training.

Grafham are taking it back but it's another 90 mile round trip.

Turbo is £40 cheaper than Evans @Hendon but that is only a 40 mile round trip - or 200 miles less than Rutland + Grafham. Wasted petrol approx £26. So I guess I'm still making a saving but ...

at least we enjoyed our walk around Rutland Water (not all of it).
