I am swearing mildly (but very quietly) at software. And idiots that set up notworks in counter-intuitive and non-helpful ways. I am also feeling rather hungry, because I forgot to eat breakfast and there's no biscuits in the staffroom here

, and but am nonetheless resisting the temptation to eat either the cake or the flapjack that is currently in my bag....

Debating whether or not to head to Leeds and buy lots and lots of electronic bits and bobs from Clas Ohlson¹ and Maplin ... I also need a PSU for my Akai SynthStation and Maplins in York don't have anything suitable in stock

¹ - well worth a look if you happen to have one near you.

Trying to convince myself it's more sensible to pack for this weekend's camping trip tonight rather than at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning (need to leave home 09:00-ish). Problem is, after a stressful 3-day week I have a serious case of CBA. $:-\$

I got round it on my first attempt at a 400k; and within a week my legs stopped hurting.

Well, spending 7 hours starting at 3pm battling against all sorts of stupid issues meant I didn’t leave work till 10pm. Fortunately I don’t have to catch the train to Wales till tomorrow afternoon so there’s plenty time to get everything sorted out for the BC 400.

Currently sorting out charging some batteries and washing some clothes for the weekend. Oh and having dinner, I need to do that too.

Relaxing, having taken an executive decision that we're not, after all, going to spend this weekend driving 1000 miles all over Scotland to visit ancient grumpy relatives.

My long weekend now looks normal: some pootling, some fettling, some TV, some beer.
