Just mowed the lawn.
Stood in the centre and spun through 360° with the strimmer.
Job done.

As an aside..... what might be the implications of swapping nylon strimmer cable with, say, gear cable? Hmmm?

If you accidentally strimmed (strummed?) your toes, I suspect a piece of metal gear cable is going to be rather a lot less forgiving to your shoes/toes/bones. $:-\$

Having a quick cup of tea between getting in from morris dancing at a local fete worse than death and packing the car to go out to tonight's gig. Why is it always the gigs miles away where you need to set up early then hang around for about two hours before doing anything?

Sorting, chucking, cleaning, rationalising. So a rather late, but better than never, spring clean.

The kitchen is almost done. Then onto clothes. And then shoes

Actually I've been doing something vaguely similar. I went through my panniers and emptied all the accumulated rubbish out of the bottom, and sorted it into stuff to keep; credit card slips and old work related stuff (which had been in there so long, they're no longer needed) for shredding; and paper for recycling.

Not surprisingly, the pile to keep was the smallest pile.

Then I worked my way through a check list of items for things to take for the charity ride next week.

I am back home after stuffing myself silly at the Birmingham Wing Wah buffet restaurant. Four trips too the buffet was a bit indulgent, but the lemon chicken was sooooooo good. I suspect my MSG intake was rather high, as was the salt.

Contemplating which ride for July's 200km audax. I may do a Peak Audax Permenant cause there are complications/clashes with the Calendar events.
& enjoying the aromas emenating from the kitchen
