I have all my books in storage at the moment and I want to do a roast duck for Christmas based on a nigel Slater recipe that I half remember. If anyone has it could you pass it on to me. I remember apples in the stuffing and star anise and marmalde on the outside of the bird but that's all I remember.

Thanks but no it's not that one . It's a roast rather than a cassarole

See here maybe - not star anise but 5-spice and apple. Recipe 2.
