Flyovers Of Unusual Size? I don't think they exist.

For the curious, this is the page for last year's March 200. The route should be largely the same (proof ride pending).

Note the elevation graph. See! Hills!!! Fcvo...

For the 600 I'm looking into the possibility of a start somewhere on the west side of the city, (Sloterdijk area) largely for my own logistics and with the route there's a lot more options for heading out to the north from the west.

Don't forget the finish. Last year, at the Groningen 600, I had 21 hours between the first finisher (3am) and the last finisher (midnight). Luckily, the finish was at my house and I could take naps to get me through the day.

Exactly. That's what I'm trying to balance. Unfortunately I can't use my apartment.

There's a new cycling theme cafe opened up nearby tho. So I'm hoping to talk to them.

:D That's one area where UK organising is easier; it's almost unheard of for people to finish at 3am.
(because it's not impossible, most Orgs will say something like "if any loon is planning to be back before 8am, you'll have to sign your card and stick it through my door ... " !)

Well, he did announce that he would be ridiculously fast (his plan was PBP in 42 hours and he was using this event to see if he could ride 600km in essentially one go) and he texted me an hour before arriving. When he arrived I let him in, gave him some soup and he slept on my couch until the trains resumed service.

That's QG's 200 from Amsterdam? You won't regret it, it's a pleasant ride when the weather cooperates. (I will skip it since I'm taking a train to Spain to catch some sun and warmth.)

First rider is back. Did it in exactly 6:45.

I don't know if I met Dale this morning. Was this the 200k you mentioned booking a ferry for ?
