This chap deserves at least a begrudging round of applause for riding 101 miles on a Bickerton.  He must be a top Fettler, as he has replaced the bars with snazzy new ones from a kid's scooter, replaced the rear fork (?) with one from another bike, and has given it a new hinge from a motor scooter - and an extra gear.  He's doing the whole ride in his work uniform  :D

Bless 'im.

UPDATE: An exhausted but elated Fr George has completed the bike ride,

clocking up 122 miles over the 3 days.

A video will be following.

IIRC, he changed his name when he joined the order, because there was someone there who already had his name, which was actually a changed name from when he'd moved there and found someone who shared his original name.  The older George then died before this one actually started, but he'd decided by then that he liked the name!
