Someone here might recognise it if you post some good pictures and tell when and where you got it.  The frame number sometimes gives a clue as well.

Hi. I don't wish to be a pessimist but if the name/transfers have been removed then I would be asking WHY remove them unless it was to sell it and possibly to deceive a buyer.
E'bay often has several  and when questioned the seller just acts dumb.

As has been suggested - post an image or two.

I have responded to several when I have seen Harry Quinn,Benotto,Hetchins and several other money makers advertised - often they have been removed and will reappear several days later with a totally revised and with a nondescript description.

Bullshit baffles Brains will often find a buyer.
Your ears are your rear-end defenders, keep them free of clutter and possibly live longer.

Hard to tell from that photo but I'd guess that's a Haro logo on the top tube brace. Other than that, as someone's done a pretty good job of Disaster Area'ing the bike I'd assume all the parts are non-OEM anyway.

There appears to be a lot of bits missing or not connected.   For instance, no front brakes, no nut and washer on the rear wheel, rear brake not connected, etc.

How does it ride?   ???

I have the back nuts and washers I just put my back wheel on to stand it up I snapped the front brake not bothered about it and just putting a new cable for the back brake

To state the obvious, don't ride it on the road with brakes like that. Not legal.

There's good reason for the rules. Back brakes aren't enough by themselves. Front brakes have far more traction because of the way that weight is "thrown forwards". And assuming that that's a freewheel that you have, you've no backup if the one brake fails.

That's what your foot is for to jam in the back wheel

I have to ask: are you twelve?

That's still a back brake. You need something acting on the front wheel, or it's impossible under the laws of physics to stop anything like as quickly as you could. Heck, jamming the back wheel won't even stop you as fast as an effective back brake could, because you'll ride down the road on a layer of molten rubber as the tyre melts.

And anything acting on the front wheel needs to give pretty precise control. So I'm not recommending sticking a foot in that.

As the saying goes do what ever makes you happy just having a back brake will do me fine

While I'll be the last person to recommend the tertiary ablative braking system in anything but the direst of emergencies, it must be said that this is a bike for low-speed bouncing around on, rather than chucking yourself down hills at 50mph.  The consequences of brake failure are going to be fairly minor, unless you use it in traffic.

That said, surely the control offered by a front-wheel brake is desirable anyway?

Plus with only a back brake only one set of brake pads to replace and a tire

Still don't beat the 14" wheel record for an Audax event.

It might beat the 49" single speed gear record for an Audax event.

 ;D ;)

The only reason not to have a front brake (other than on the track or at the skate park) is if you are doing freestyle tricks and want to spin around the front wheel (and even then you can fit a gyro). Bloody daft not to fit one otherwise.

No gyro needed the bolt on the stem has a hole down threw forks for the brake

Hang on, isn't the gyro for the *rear* brake cable?  The front brake cable just goes down through the steerer, as xmisslucyx says.

Not that it matters if you aren't spinning the front wheel.
