Be aware there are major Kings Cross engineering works the weekend after PBP. During this period there will be no trains between Kings Cross / St Pancras / Moorgate and Cambridge or Peterborough (or intermediate stations on the East coast lines)

Yes I saw this last week.  My plan A was an early train back to Edinburgh Sunday 25th so boo  :(

As a result I'm now booked home on the sleeper to Edinburgh late on the Sunday night which uses Euston and the west coast.

St Pancras also has the Bedford line so trains to Edinburgh will still be running. But Euston, a mile up the road, and west coast likely a better option for Edinburgh.

Very :-\

Brighton to Waterloo (?), then a quick shuftie across town on two wheels to St Pancras, then train to Bedford, then rescue service ...
Lockdown lethargy. RRTY: wot's that? Can't remember if I'm on #8 or #9 ...

Yup that will now be my route A home to Embra, disembarking at Carlisle and getting on a train heading north east. Unfortunately, the Saturday trains haven't had any of the advanced tickets released yet. All trains are still full price. Watching them like a hawk though.
