My bad - eyes busy elsewhere  :D

I wasn't sure where to post it, tbh. We need a moderator adjudication!

d.

Where's the commissar when you need him? ;D

In P&OBI - it's the commissaires you're after... :demon: ;)

Well, I'll take your word for it that was amazing. For some reason known only the BBC, they cut away from their online boradcast just before the final started, to cover some unkown journalist commentating on an empty hocky pitch, and cut back to the race a minute after it had finished. Complete idiots.

Beating Bauge over the first stint was amazing as well :)

Hindes did a sterling - sorry, golden - job, when you consider the tank slapper he had in the first run.

Kenny might be beginning to fancy his chances.

And ended the coverage without showing the medal presentations.

Funny old rule.

I understand the need for clear lines, but the whole point of the judge's opinion is for marginal infractions where the team didn't gain any advantage.  Blech.  Slow hand clap the judges on this one.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

Hoy, Kenny and Hindes were unbelievable! What a fantastic competition - the Brits took the WR twice! And what a shame for Vicky and Jess (and the Chinese girls).

What if Team GB and China both got into the finals and then did the dodgy overtake?

They both get relegated, and the fastest team win?

There is a rule and it is quite clear. It was enforced at the worlds and the riders were told it would be enforced here. There is no room for discretion - it is a bit like saying 'the shuttlecock was only a little bit outside the line'.

The germans won because they rode the race properly.
