I'm full of cold so I shan't be out this week.

Join the club, I think I am getting over it (TLD and Mrs T are still suffering) so this week will be on Thursday.

Why go for a bike ride in the real world when you could watch a middle-aged German ride his bike round a track in Switzerland for an hour?

Let me think about that.

Nah, I'd rather be out on my bike (especially with the loud sighs and rolled eyes I get from TLD and Mrs T when put any cycling on the TV).

This week, once again, shall be Thrusday, with a bonus ride next Sunday (as I will need to go and collect my car after a debauched Saturday at Mrs T's cousin's wedding)

Urm. About that. Mrs T has just told me that she has a Pilates class from 6-7 on Thursday and I need to collect TLD from dancing. Dave (notp) can't do Thursday, but can do Wednesday, which leaves a couple of options:

1) I get out on the bike two nights running (no bad thing, in my book, especially as I am on a roll ATM), with Thursday starting 19.15
2) Just do Weds, normal time.

Which works better for you?

I know, I know, see if you can find some "interesting" hills...

Obv. I just wanted to let you know that it wasn't a big problem if you arrived earlier :)

....and we are back!

Due to a change of job location, lightening of nights and lack of cycling on my part, I need to get this up and running again.

Free pretty much all this week, so can do any evening.

Any takers?

I'd love a social ride Phil, but I'm working till 6.30 every night so it'd be difficult.

Which day is good? Mrs T is not back until tomorrow, but free the rest of the week.

@Ruthie, boo to work!

Do we have a plan? Do we need one? I'm happy just to make it up as we go along.

Mind you, I promised the staff of the other pub in Rainton (we didn't go there last year as there was a sign up saying "no riffraff" or somesuch) that I'd go back and have a proper meal sometime. It was a complicated deal involving them serving me just chips rather than an entire meal. Good chips, too. Maybe save Rainton for the summer and go somewhere closer this week, though.

ETA: Farmers in Scorton? Fine by me!

Checking my social diary - I appear to be free on Thursday, but probably can't make it to N/A before 6:30. Will that be too late?

Nah, that'll be fine, Dave (notp) will be joining us, so 6.30 works well, for me anyways.
