Sorry I couldn't make it but domestic RL intervened.

Hopefully see you soon...

Bloody better do, as my garage is filling up with parts for you! :)

Yeah, I might be available.

I was planning a touring overnighter tomorrow/Wednesday, but weather is not optimal so was thinking of pushing it back. If there's a couple out on Thursday, I'll definitely go tomorrow.

I'll be up on Thursday but it's  highly unlikely that I'm riding.

Ah, excellent - I was about to ask if there's a ride this week.

Dale, fancy a ride down from Darlo? I'll hopefully escape work at about 4-4.15, and I know a couple of nice routes (one nearly all offroad, but doable onna tourer).

Yeah, I'm definitely in again.

Hmm, probably not mate - it's easier and a lot cheaper to get the Grand Central down. A return SUN > NTR is less than a single from NCL to DAR

I'll be riding back to Sunderland from Northallerton though, if that's any good?

I'll maybe be riding back to Darlo, so that'd be fine.

I'll probably be getting the train down, I think, so no fields of cowshit this week!

AS there are two of us heading back north, how about a destination somewhere a bit north, so we can head straight back? Not necessarily Scorton, but somewhere-to-the-north. Appleton Wiske? Cowtons?

Actually, we haven't done the COR route to the Cowtons in a while...

Beeswing @ East Cowton? Lets scare Dave something stupid by doing that COR past the church etc...  :demon:

There is also a lovely bit of COR after the Beeswing, which I went along the other week.  It's like Shark Lane used to be, with added ruts and an uphil biit :)

It'll also give the Renegade a chance to prove itself :)

Last night was fun, a return to the original COR (you'll remember that, Tors, it's the one where you reached the top of that downhill bit and said "You want me to ride down THAT?")

The new, baked soot bike behaved itself, Dave(notp) got a puncture (another snakebite) and we managed a moving average, even including the COR, of ~14mph.

I didn't get any pics, but Deano and Dale did, so hopefully they will be along in a minute to show us a few.  Providing they got to their respective homes, that is, we (as in Dave(notp) and I) left them in the pub...

Oh and I discovered I don't have enough space on the back for a Super C saddle bag, it kept scraping on the tyre, making me think there were pheasants around...

is there any possibility of a tuesday night ride next week?

between band jobs, horses and other commitments the next few weeks are bonkers, and I'm determined to get out with you lot this year!

I can do Tuesday, next week (if you had asked that 2 weeks ago the answer would be different, but I am at home Tuesday).

Anyone else? Pharti?

Don't think I'll be down next week :)

I do have some photos of the explorers emerging from the bush, though:

Yup, do you still have the PM with the address on it? Start will be 18:00 to 18:30, dependent on people getting here.

I may or may not make an appearance. Not sure what I'm doing yet but I have the return bit of my ticket left over from last week, so might have a meandering ride down.

UPDATE - I'm no longer available, getting the last train to Carlisle and riding back to Sunderland in a DIY by GPS stylee. Was going to go tonight but the allure of a £4.50 ticket vs. a £19 one was too much for this cheapskate.
