I'm in for a ride out. Sorry, my available Internet time is very short atm, hence the slow replies!

Any suggestions for pub in Osmotherley?

Sure, sounds good to me - I can head straight there from work. 7.30 ish?

Shall I ask lanterne rouge about a pub in Osmotherley?

There are 3, but I've not been to any to recommend or otherwise.

I would say Three Tuns as it is the only one with a beer garden (for the bikes) and the menu looks OK

KK.
See you at the 3 Tuns when I get there.
I will nudge Mr Smith, so he can pay for my dinner and bring that box for Deano.

There's a reasonably direct route up Clay Bank then across country...

Due to now being a wage slave (aka a day of back to back meetings) I have only just finished work and won't get back until 6. I am knackered and it is week 11, so I am out, sorry, have a good evening. Have a pint for me!

I dunno which idiot suggested Osmotherley, there's a bloody great hill to get over between there and my gaff.

My shitty commuter front light isn't really up to descents like that, I had to walk. Still, the food was nice and there were no complaints on the beer from the boys.

Mr Smith is a right cheap date after his Dry January weeks off. Bless.

I think next week is steak night again- I'll check - anyone fancy another go at Roots? Last time the meat was really very good.

Sorry you couldn't make it, Phil, but Osmotherley kinda worked. I had a great ride over up Scugdale and across some of the tracks under Bilsdale transmitter. Certainly made the 10 minutes dragging the bike up a rocky stream bed worthwhile.

And it was an idyllic ride back, hardly any wind or cars and a big bright moon on the lanes.

Oh yeah, there were a couple of cyclists at the pub as well.

Steak night is the 29th, but that's no good for us, I'll be packing.

I'm in favour of a short one this week. How about The Kings Head in Seamer?

(Their awe inspiring website is here: http://www.kingsheadseamer.co.uk/)

Oh, in that case I can be persuaded!

I would love to join you this week, but can't :(

Normal, crap, service will be resumed next week.

I can't make it tonight - sorry if I was unclear before.

I will be there, but I can't speak for Mr Smith as he's not answering at the moment- which means he's either busy working or having a nap. He was claiming tiredness earlier, so I suspect the second option.

See you at 7.

Are Wednesdays better for you Pharti? It's only this week we couldn't do Wednesday, usually I'm easy either way.

HOLD ON

I just phoned as their website is so detailed- and they don't do food. Is that a deal breaker?

They're usually about the same, it was just tonight I had something on.
