Sorry, no.  You just fall in to North Essex as you are a Colchester Borough dweller.

That is the sort of influence I can bring to bear on a discussion  :P

So it looks as if Bobb is conformist but that Tippers is now part of the NEEMWNS.  Tomsk, meanwhile, is rather on his own in WEMWNS.

Regarding this Wednesday evening, putting aside the extraordinary general meeting to discuss matters of great import, is the consensus that we are going to The Compasses at Great Totham and the THE ROUTE which huggy posted a few days ago is the one that the Witham peloton is going to follow?

I ask now as my capacity to upload or plan routes might be a compromised this week on account of being a bit busy.

Sounds like a plan to me.

I may or may not be able to get to the start for 7:30.  If not,  I'll try to intercent the peloton somewnere en-route.

Not sure I shall be out this Wednesday, as I am in London the following day plus saving my legs for the weekend....

See you at the curry on Friday though :)

I am hoping to be out on Wednesday although it is likely I might ride a reverse route or go for an intercept at some point. If it is dry I will take the Fixed out and I don't think I am quite ready for the joys of North Hill on that quite yet anyway.

Mudguards, Saddle and Lighting bracket are all ordered and on the way now so hopefully it won't be long before I can take it out whatever conditions.

I've also stripped the Trek down after all the recent discussion and found by BB bearing to be in
(click to show/hide)

I'll be putting that back together before the weekend including new cables and a new front derailleur as the old one has seized (although a service I did on the old one might have fixed the issue, I need to test it on the frame)

I like fettling....hopefully the results are good.

Yeah, thanks for that smugly.

I still have your headset press. I can drop it off whenever you want it.  I drive past your road end twice daily.

I may be making progress with Trek.  Watch this space.

If you are out tomorrow night you can bring it along then....or feel free to drop it in at home, someone is usually in. I am home on Thursday and Friday (out between about 12 and 4 on Thursday)

If I don't make it out tomorrow night - in fairness I am going to be out all of Friday night so it might be pushing it to be out tomorrow as well - I will drop it into yours on Thursday or Friday.  I will be working from home on Friday as well.

Not sure I approve of this new-fangled democracy thingy.   I was quite fond of the benevolent dictatorship.

Aaargh!  Ma Branes Esplode!

Benevolent dictator suggests embracing change!  Surely that should be imposed!

e.g.

Embrace change!  Or else!  :P
