Ok so what is your proof that the operation of the printers is leading to that situation?

It's a purity spiral: who can do !more! to fight Corona?!

Just withdrawing business on no basis is irresponsible and mean spirited. Printing is very very distinct from construction.

You withdraw the business from the printer. Then the printer withdraws their business from the lorry driver. Before you know it a bunch of people are financially hurting and looking for new income streams. Consumer confidence is knocked even more than it is now and soon it's a downward spiral for the wider microeconomy which worsens our already pretty poor situation.

Unless there is proof that the printers are breaking the rules set by the government and public health authorities nothing should change.

go ahead; print the (rather thin) magazines; get people to have to go into work to print pack and distribute them against Government advice and common bloody sense

Given that an Arrivée has only just arrived (well, a couple of weeks back), it's going to be a little while before there's any printing or packing or posting to be done for the next issue.

I've got no doubt that whatever we and the printers do will be in accordance with the relevant government advice at that point. With a bit of luck, we might get it to follow scientific advice and common bloody sense as well.

It's coming around to the time of year when the next issue of Arrivee is being put together and Ged (the editor) is in need of your stories and photos.

How's the return to normal randonneuring been for you? A bit of a challenge or just like riding a bike?

Have you been out riding perms or DIYs?  Let's hear about them.

Are you prepping for LEL - or even starting to make plans for PBP? What are you hoping for - and what do you worry about?

Been on some interesting tours?  Let's see your holiday snaps.

Got any other great photos from AUK events? We haven't had any spreads of members' photos for a while  :'(

Or anything else that you think might be of interest to other members.
