acer revo 'nix box boot problems
« on: 17 January, 2013, 07:31:19 pm »
I  have an  Acer  revo running  Mint - It  is  a  little reluctant  to boot clean, often  needs a  couple  of  off-on-off cycles, does  this below  mean anything? or  should  I  be  poking  into  grub?

Not a problem. I would be looking the the psu on its way out if it takes a few pokes of the power switch to get going

I notice you have a windows partition too, is it dual boot? If so does windows boot ok?

If yes, then a Mint issue.

If no then hardware.
